Statement Savings

  • $50.00 minimum opening deposit

  • Quarterly statements
  • Interest earned on any balance
  • $2.50 Monthly service charge on dormant accounts below $50.00
  • $10 fee for excessive withdrawals 

Excessive withdrawals defined as any monthly statement cycle, in which you make more than six withdrawals or transfers to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephone order or instruction. 
Rate may change after account is opened.

Christmas Club

  • Weekly payments of $3, $5, $10, or $20 may be established
  • Flexible weekly contributions permitted
  • In lieu of interest, United Cumberland Bank will make the 51st regular payment
  • A contribution register will be provided so that you may keep up with weekly contributions
  • Checks will be mailed to you in October.
    *Bonus Disclosure:
    -In order to obtain the bonus all payments must be made by the 50th week.
    -The minimum balance to obtain the bonus is 50 full payments; $150 for a $3 account, $250 for a $5 account, $500 for a $10 account, and $1,000 for a $20 account.
    -The minimum balance to open the account is one full payment.
    -The bonus will be provided the second week of October via a mailed check in the name of the account holder. 

G.P.A. (Grades Pay Awards Program)

UCB is helping motivate students to excel in the classroom. At the end of each grading period, bring in your child’s grade report and we'll make contributions based on their G.P.A. Supporting area students, like only a hometown bank can!

Available to students that attend schools in McCreary and Pulaski County, KY or Scott and Campbell County, TN, in grades K-12 with cash deposit awards for good grades.

Savings Account as follows:

  • GPA of 2.0 to 2.99, the student will receive a $3 deposit
  • GPA of 3.0 to 3.99 will earn a $6 deposit
  • Perfect 4.0 GPA will earn a $10 deposit

Health Savings Account (HSA)

A Health Savings Account is a tax exempt trust or custodial account that allows a customer to pay for, or be reimbursed for qualified medical expenses.

• Available to individuals covered by High Deducible Health Plan and cannot be covered by another insurance plan or enrolled in Medicare.
• Lower health insurance premiums
• Tax free contributions to HSA
• Interest earned is not taxed
• Tax free withdrawals for qualified medical expenses

Money Market Account

Accessing your money is easy as writing a check. Please speak with a Customer Service Representative for complete disclosure on each account including current interest rate information.

  • Minimum opening deposit is $2,500
  • No monthly service charge if minimum daily balance exceeds $2,500
  • Interest is paid and compounded monthly on the entire daily balance based on 4 tiers:
    • Tier 1 – up to $1,499.99
    • Tier 2 - $1,500 - $9,999.99
    • Tier 3 - $10,000 - $24,999.99
    • Tier 4 - $25,000+

This account allows up to 6 withdrawals or transfers per statement cycle and unlimited deposits. $10 fee for excessive withdrawals.

The base coverage amount is $250,000 for each depositor for all combined deposits in the same bank. However, if you have joint and individual accounts, you and the other account owner may be eligible for additional coverage.
